Parental Guidance
Obviously every child is different. And every parent has different standards for what he or she considers acceptable material for his or her children. We feel that all the films in the ROLFF 2014 lineup are suitable for children ages 6 and up. (We even wish we could offer discounts for kids but we just can’t make it work logistically.) In our experience, most children 5 and under aren’t much interested in sitting still for movies that don’t involve animated characters or talking animals, but you’re welcome to give any of these films a try. If your little ones start howling or throwing popcorn, please do usher them out of the theater into the wide-open beauty of Yosemite Valley!
PARENTAL NOTES:
El Capitan (1968) contains some profanity.
Color of a Brisk and Leaping Day (1996) contains some brief female nudity and an implied sexual situation.
Sufferfest contains various bleeped-out cuss words.
